Pamela Ries

A multifaceted and experienced leader, Pamela Ries* draws on expertise attained in multiple industries to deliver on organizational objectives and institute best-in-class practices and strategies. She has held numerous leadership positions throughout her career, including manager, director, vice president and senior vice president at the C-suite level. Her enthusiasm for developing people, fostering relationships, creating high-performing teams, cultivating a values-based culture, and implementing transformative strategies manifests in a history of successful initiatives, and a willingness to embrace innovative approaches. Her thorough understanding of business models enables her to appreciate the ways that business objectives intersect with individual team members' needs and goals.

With business and human resources expertise, she partners with organizations that are growing, changing, or optimizing their business. Some of the most popular and in-depth projects include succession and strategic planning, leadership development, team building, culture evolution, preparing for mergers and acquisitions, talent retention strategies, and organizational change.  She also coaches leaders and aspiring leaders who desire personal and professional development. 

Pam is passionate about community and regional involvement.  She currently serves on the board of Inforum Michigan, actively volunteers with local organizations, and is engaged in national advisory councils. She also served on the boards of i4CP, Hello West Michigan, The Literacy Center of West Michigan, and Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes.  She was selected as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ Notable Women in HR, featured by Glint, Inc. as a people-driven leader, and recognized by KPMG as an HR Pathfinder.

Pam and her husband, Steve enjoy many outdoor activities. They also live near their daughter, Jenna, and cherish the time spent with her.
