Mark Keating is the President of Advanced Business Partners, a financial planning firm led by award winning advisors. ABP specializes in business transition strategies with over $800 million assets under management. Mark leads ABP’s vision to reinvent the planning experience and client engagement. This is achieved through expanded access to solutions, ideas and collaborative engagement with professionals from other disciplines.
Mark has over 28 years of experience in the financial industry. His unique blend of leadership experience and business planning expertise provide great value to our clients and firm. Before the joining ABP in 2022, Mark served as President & Chief Executive Officer of K2 Advisory Group and General Agent of MassMutual MidMichigan where he led the firm’s growth strategy that achieved its best performance years in its 130 year history.
Earlier in his career, Mark served as Vice President of National Sales Distribution for Transamerica, a Fortune 100 company. Previously, he was an award winning Managing Director for Prudential Preferred Financial Services in New York and Michigan. Mark began his career in 1993 as a financial advisor in New York City with Prudential.
Deeply committed to giving back, Mark is an active philanthropist. He has served on the board of directors for Boys & Girls Club of Grand Rapids and The GAMA Foundation, an industry organization committed to the education and development of Financial Services research. He is also a former title sponsor of Kent County Girls on the Run, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to empowering young girls.
