Joseph Amaya, QKA, C(k)P, CPFA

Joe is a partner at PPS and ERP Retirement Services.  He has over 17 years of experience, specializing in 401(k), 457 Government, 403(b), Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, and Nonqualified 409A Plans. Joe has experience working with hundreds of retirement plan clients and leverages his expertise to create the ideal client experience for H&A Advanced Business Partner’s clients.

Joe currently holds his Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation. He also holds his C(k)P which puts him in a select group of Certified 401(k) Professionals, a designation he earned through UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.   During his tenure with John Hancock and MassMutual, Joe received awards, such as “Rising Star” (2017) and was a 6-time President’s Club recipient. He also sat on several leadership councils at Fortune 100 companies where he operated as a Regional Vice President and Managing Director.

Joe is a graduate of Arizona State University. He lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife Jennifer and two children. He enjoys golf, Green Bay Packer football, and traveling with his family.
